Along the Las Vegas Strip, there are several casino hotels that welcome families and kids. They usually have lots of fun activities and entertainment for children, including great pools, buffets, arcades, theme parks and shows.
Smoke-Free Hotels in Las Vegas - Off Strip
You can get non-smoking rooms in all casino hotels but it usually won't stop the smoke seeping up to your room. Go to the Smoke-Free Hotels Page to find casinos, hotels and resorts that cater to non-smokers.
There are several good nanny services and babysitters in Las Vegas. One babysitter service called 'Grandma Dotty's' charges a $50 fee for a minimum of 4 hours (plus tip).

Friends of mine from Utah use them whenever they visit. I called this company a few times and they seemed very professional and friendly. They come to any of the Las Vegas casinos or hotels on and near the Strip. They have also received very good reviews on the internet sites. I tried some other services but found they had too many added fees.
My friend booked a bunch of cheap rooms on Carnival for January. If you would like to go on a cruise for about $250, please call Judy at 714-724-3544. Bring your kids!

I am a mother of three who visits Las Vegas with my family for pleasure and conferences. We like the warm weather, walking the Las Vegas Strip, swimming in the pools and seeing a show or two.
Not all family friendly hotels are located along the Las Vegas Strip. There are hotels that have on-site childcare located very close to the Strip. You don't have to be a guest to use the childcare centers but you can't leave the premises while your child is booked into one. Let your child play for an hour or two while you relax in the casino.I have used these services at the Palms.
You can also book smoke-free hotels in Las Vegas.
Check out the page with Things for Kids to Do while in Las Vegas. It includes what you will see when you visit each casino along the Las Vegas Strip. Most activities are free.

If it's your first time visiting Las Vegas, don't worry. The large casinos have shopping, entertainment, restaurants and fun activities for kids in the malls surrounding the hotel and casino. You don't necessarily need to take your children into the actual gambling areas of the casinos, unless you are walking through to get to your hotel room elevator.
Strollers not Permitted at Wynn Las Vegas
